In this episode, Tony and I were bowled over to chat with Sarah Quillian (Now Sarah Scott but better known as Adella) one of the most significant and stunning faces of cosplay. As it turned out she is even nicer and more fun than she is beautiful and had a metric ton of stories to tell about her adventures creating dresses and costumes in loving accuracy to Disney, video games, anime and a host of other creative influences.

She gives us the lowdown on how the scene changed over the previous decade, the catty behaviour of prima donnas, the ups and downs of the convention circuit, the guerilla tactics of location photography, the joy of connection and inspiration and the majesty of the finished recreations of those Aeris and Belle outfits. This was definitely one of our favourite interviews over the years and I’m very happy to bring it back to the world.
